Judy Ross, Associate Professor of Graphic Design, is currently teaching
at Alfred University School of Art and Design. Ms. Ross received her Masters
of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan. She is the owner of JRoss
Design and has managed a successful graphic design business
for more than 16 years.
Ms. Ross’s career includes a wide range of experience as designer, teacher,
art director and painter. Throughout her professional life, she has combined
the distinct traits and sensibilities of graphic design and painting. To Judy,
combining the expressive power of painting with the strategic communication
of graphic design creates the opportunity to go beyond making an object to
making a difference.
