The Alfred Montessori School in Alfred, New York, provides a living-learning-playing environment in which children can develop their individual capabilities and all areas of intellectual growth. The goal is to balance the relationship between freedom and structure so that children discover for themselves the concepts inherent in the activity of learning. The mission of the school is to protect the right of each child to have the opportunity to develop his or her potential.The Alfred Montessori School will conduct a benefit art auction this June in conjunction with Alfred University Alumni Weekend. Artisits from the AU School of Art and Design and the surrounding community are donating artwork.The poster features a list of contributing artists to generate enthusiasm and sales for the auction. The design was applied to collateral materials such as newspaper ads, a flyer, tickets, and the Alfred Montessori School web site.
